Does your kitten put the leg in your mouth? Have you ever made the reasons behind this behavior? If so, consider the following explanations.

Keen: Not happily knowing “invading” his personal space, his cat can be putting his leg on his face as a sample of true and tender affection. It is a way to approach your body as much as possible (faces and chests are also feline favorites), and because you use your mouth when talking to it, consider the equivalent of an approval stamp, or in cat detection: all legs in recognition.

Attention: If you are not paying enough attention to your cat, you can place your leg very strategically in your mouth: to renounce as your way of asking you to “listen” to your silent application. If this gesture achieved positively positive results in the past, it is likely that you have learned that putting your leg in your mouth is the best way to get your attention: whether you want an empty food bowl to fill again or want to curl up with you and take a nap.

Comfort: If your kitten partner is hard against your chest and put your leg in your mouth, accept this as a coveted and very desired sign of comfort on your part, especially if you score by snoring, snoring, slice.

Happiness: If your favorite feline feels especially playful, it could crawl on you and put your leg in your mouth as your way of attracting you to play with it. And yet … His mouth is an entrance to his digestive system with links to his respiratory system. What does this mean? It means that your cat’s leg is able to transmit various types of bacteria, fungi and viruses to your body. And although it may seem as fresh as the Proverbial Margarita, in reality, while making its way through its sand box, it often comes into contact with its own urine and feces.

In summary, when putting his leg in his mouth, he deposits small eggs there that carry anything from e. coli and parasites to Salmonella that can be transmitted to your system and infect it.
