Low cost forms of showing your pets love for Valentine’s Day
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it is time to show special people in our lives how much we love them, even if they have four legs instead of two feet!
“We can always trust our pets to show us unconditional love and support, and because of this, many of us can feel more comfortable with our pets than with people,” explains the veterinary nurse of PDSA, Nina Downing. “That is why they definitely deserve something special in exchange for this Valentine’s Day, but the bank does not have to break!
“Now, although we try, our pets do not always love the things we do for them. For example, giving direct visual contact to your cat or dog is a great non-no, and not all dogs like to be spilled in their heads. Fortunately, we are here to help you with the things that your pet will love!
The low cost of Nina to show your pets that love them:
- Go on a new walkway
“This is only for dogs, but taking them on a new walking route in which you have never been before (or one in which you have not been in a long time) with many new sounds and smells is an excellent way to show you that they love them. They will really appreciate being able to take their time and have an adequate exploration, so be sure to put aside a long time, without having to run again.
- Play your favorite game
“Most pets love to play and it is possible that theirs have a favorite game that they like to play with you, but they also try to introduce some new ones to make life interesting. Plan where you can fit in an extra time to dedicate to play with your pet: it will help the two to join, keep them assets and show them how important they are for you. Funny time is excellent for physical and mental health not only for you, but also for your pet.
“We all like to receive gifts and our pets are not different. It is good to keep our toys of varied pets and rotate them so that they do not get bored, maintaining some back for a while and reintroduce them once they have tired of playing with the first set. Making a new toy for your dog, cat or rabbit is a great idea, it means that your toys are unique and can recycle materials to save waste. Before throwing the egg boxes, make a bisugas feeder with just a few items for your cat. They will love if you put some of their favorite treats in a roll or kitchen cloth, wrinkles freely and place it in the egg cups. Do not forget to supervise your pets when they play to keep them safe and even better to join the game!
“Pets often like a stroke or scratch behind their ears, maybe even a soft massage, but we should not underestimate the importance of maintaining the upper part of their skin condition. Longer hair pets need some additional help in the cleaning front, since they can develop knots that strive especially around the groin and under the front legs, while long ears and fingers of hairy feets can become tangled and sore, a regular boyfriend will keep them incredible. If your pet enjoys being brushed, take time for a daily brush (it will also help keep up to the pet’s hair around the house).
- Go quality time together
“Above all, your pet will only enjoy having you. Whether that means sitting on the couch and watching television while your cat huddles in your lap or relaxes in the garden with your dog, you will love to be with you. Try to make sure you put aside all the time you can, only you and your pet so that you feel really appreciated. “
