A small two -week trigger was taken to the strange sanctuary of cats, giving him the opportunity for a better life.
“She came to us from a surrender of the local owner. She was delivered as a single kitten because she was the only baby in the garbage, not nursing,” Kristy, vice president of the strange sanctuary of Cats, shared with Love Meow.
Three dedicated veterinary technicians worked tirelessly to help the kitten to eat, ultimately, save his life.
Although the targeted had low weight, she remained in a good mood and showed a strong will to live. His caregiver woke up every two hours throughout the night to make sure that a diet has never been lost and received all the attention he needed.
“It was not an easy task. When he reached her second bottles feeder, which called her onion, she constantly began to gain weight.”
The onion was so small that it needed to be fed with a syringe at the beginning. But as he gained strength, his appetite improved, and swallowed anxiously the formula as a champion. After each meal, he snuggled in some hugs with his caregiver before being involved in a cozy and warm bed.
“A town is needed to save lives. Many people joined to ensure that this girl would prosper.”
The onion loved to curl up with its people, fall asleep on their shoulder or snuggle in the tortic of his neck. At the time they held it, he melted in a character of satisfaction. Some gentle belly friction would roll it with their legs happily stirring in the air.
As he became bigger and stronger, his playful and naughty side emerged.
The onion rode in his own small cat to keep up with his feeding schedule. He was curious about every place he visited, enchanting everyone with his irresistible baby blue and his endearing personality.
As his legs strengthened, he made bold attempts to get out of his nest and explore the world beyond.
At four weeks of age, his appetite is insatiable and drinks from an adequate bottle with pleasure. The onion can barely wait for each diet, grabbing its bottle hard while engulfing every drop of the formula.
It is surprising to think that only two weeks ago, he fought to eat. Now, she fills her belly every time and proudly wears her little milk stake.
While finding her balance, she met a canine friend who took her under her wing and showed her the strings.
Puck, a gentle adoptive dog, moves the onion with kisses of lobism every time he curls towards him. He even rides on his back, leaving his jog on him and practicing his wrestling with his ears.
Thanks to compassionate veterinary technicians and volunteers, the onion is blooming with a constant company. Soon, he will approach as if he owns the place, preparing for his next chapter, a home forever.
“This perfect angel is already spoken and going home forever with a big brother (cat) when it is ready.”
Despite its hard start, the onion has become a packet of playful and tender joy. She is surrounded by love and even uses a small smile on her face as she falls asleep.
