Zeke, the kitten, had been alone for a long time, defending himself until he was finally rescued and taken to the Community Cat Club.

At six months, he was shy and lost, but he didn’t have a bad bone in his body. “His unfortunate little face could probably tell a sad story if he could speak,” Michelle shared, a volunteer of the Community Cat Club reception.

She opened her house to the deserved kitten and was determined to help him learn to trust.

Shortly after arriving in parenting care, Zeke sought refuge in a small cat house to decompress. Upon realizing that the noise had disappeared and the food was available, slowly began to heat home.

He was very scared, but when Michelle stroked him softly, he did not move away and gradually accepted his affection.

“It’s super sweet and just wants to be comforted. It’s the type of cat that wants to be cooked and calm.”

As he helped Zeke generate confidence in people, Michelle noticed that he was comfortably and drooling when he stroked. Although she tried to hide, once she approached, she enjoyed her attention.

With the hope that a safe cat would help Zeke get out of his shell, Michelle decided to bring his resident cats, Poe and Hux. Poe visited the parenting room several times, and Zeke seemed very interested.

Despite his fear of people, Zeke ventured from his hiding place to follow Poe. Slow but sure, Poe’s trust infected him.

Encouraged by resident cats, Zeke took his first steps to the dining room, beginning to discover what a house was like.

When observing the interactions between the cats of the house and his human, he gathered the courage to seek affection to Michelle. “It is a beautiful and sweet kitten that needs patience to get used to new environments.”

“He likes to sit like a king, narrow his eyes on his eyes. He likes to play hard, but it is easy to please shaking some candy.”

“He likes to pick it up and the belly if it is done as” likes. “It is very sweet but also a little independent if his mood comes up.”

Hux, the resident ginger, showed Zeke the strings and took him to the dining room table where they could examine the house as royalty. Zeke continued anxiously, curious about his next adventure.

“Zeke makes a very fantastic play or a cuddled partner for another cat, very friendly with cats.”

The cats of the house increased their trust and showed him that humans are not so scary. They played and had dinner together. Hux taught Zeke some key wrestling movements, while Poe assured him he was loved.

“Although a little shy, we couldn’t understand why he kept going through adoption events,” he shared the rescue.

“He has been waiting patiently at his reception for a family to choose it. Finally, after three months of waiting, it is Zeke’s turn.”

A lovely couple fell in love with the heels for the sweet and gentle soul. Zeke was adopted and went to his new home, where his new cat brother was waiting for him.
