Here comes the Easter cat, Crash! – Cats.com

They knew that the cat seriously injured, with a broken left leg, a broken jaw and the right eye appeared the plug, faced a serious battle to survive, but it was worth it.

“While he continued to fight and run well, they were willing to give him the opportunity to fight,” says Jenn Hernández, dissemination and fundraising coordinator for simply cats.

“He definitely made a fight,” says Hernández in an interview with Cats.com. “It was a great trip to take him back to the state in which he is now.

A few months later, the accident recovered from the accident. The shelter staff loved him so much that they decided to keep it as the resident pet for simply cats.

Then, in 2023, shelter employee Maddie Corey saw on social networks that someone in Boise had entered a dog in the Cadbury bunny contest, which was open to animals other than bunnies. And indeed, in March 2023, Cadbury announced Crash as the winner of the fifth annual test of Cadbury Bunny! That year was the rescue edition, and Crash ‘competition included a chinchilla, a duck and a sheep. Crash starred in a commercial and in many YouTube ads, and won a total of $ 10,000 in cash, was divided into two $ 5,000 awards, which were for Simply Cats.

Crash brought a lot of attention to Simply Cats, who organized a meeting fund collection event in which people could meet their bunny ears and get their “Pawtography.”

He likes to jump on people’s shoulders and wrapping like a scarf around the neck. Crash also enjoys standing on his hind legs and giving five.

“He has a peculiar, friendly and really outgoing personality,” she says. “Everyone loves him and loves him … He was a great adjustment.”

Every morning, Crash, nicknamed Crashie-Poo, gets up and early in his room, which has a cat tower and a window hanger. He likes to visit with other cats in the shelter, which has between 40 and 80 felines at a given time. Crash, about 7 years old, is very friendly and relaxed, and approaches all staff members in search of affection.

Crash still makes occasional appearances in events with its bunny ears, and the tinge receives many visitors in the quarterly events of Open House in Simply Cats.

“He represents everything we defend: resistance and hope, helping the wonderful cats and kittens that need us,” she says. “It is also a reminder for the community that is worth saving every cat.”
