Cat Breeds
Cat found 8 years later, cross states for the timer TN meeting! | Bengalcats.co
In September 2015, Joe and Leanna Drnec left southern California for Knoxville, Tennessee, but his Gatito Ebi was not with them. EBI had disappeared earlier that year, leaving the Drnecs and their cat Eunice to face the hard understanding that I could never return.
As the years passed, EBI’s whereabouts was still unknown, leaving Joe and Leanna in the hope of having found another love home. However, a surprising phone call in early 2022 revived their hopes and brought the incredible news that Ebi was ready to meet with them in Tennessee.
Lost cat found
EBI, who is named after the Japanese word for ‘shrimp’, was adopted by Joe and Leanna from the Pets Mary S. Roberts adoption center. She enjoyed her outdoor time despite being mainly an inner cat. One day, EBI did not return home, causing the beginning of its mysterious disappearance.
Years later, an individual with a good heart found EBI near where it disappeared for the first time and took her to a shelter where she was identified through her microchip as the lost kitten of the drnecs.
Riversid’s County call informed Joe that it was found that EBI left him disbelief. The perspective of gathering seemed thin due to distance, but Riversid County Animal Services and John Welsh, along with his personal contribution and the help of the Animal Solutions Konnection (ASK) Foundation, made the meeting possible.
EBI finally arrived in Tennessee, and after a time adjusting, he will meet with Eunice, completing the Drnec family once again. This story highlights the incredible value of microchipping pets, ensuring that members of the Furry Furry family have the opportunity to find the way back home.
