When Tails High rescuers found a small and vulnerable kitten of a cat colony, they did not hesitate to give it a new beginning.
The tuxedo had spent its first three months outdoors with little or no human contact. From the beginning, she was an escape artist. After he woke up from his sterilization, he maneuvered his carrier and took refuge in the filming train of a car.
Kate, a volunteer from the rescue, took her out gently, only to discover later that the kitten had retired in another hiding place.
“He found his way to the beams of the garage of a rescuer. For three days of suspense, he remained hidden, keeping all alert until his hero with a staircase took her to a safe place,” said another volunteer.
The kitten was appointed chaos after his daring Houdini. Shortly after, he moved to his reception home with Setareh.
In one day, Mayhem left his shell in his quiet and welcoming room, delighting his adoptive mother while curiously exploring every corner and crack.
To everyone’s surprise, only 24 hours later, received videos of curls in the Setareh lap, making cookies.
It turned out that Mayhem had always longed for affection. His caution faded once he realized that people were not so bad. As soon as he gathered the courage to approach his adoptive mother, he leaned for pets and snuggled in his lap.
The kitten, who had everyone in panic before, now sought comfort of his human.
When Mayhem discovered his love for hugs, he began to knead everything he touched. He lay down on his people and rested his legs on them, always staying connected in some way.
“Despite the dramatic beginning, she is now in a safe, playful and incredibly comfortable girl who is up to her name only in the best ways.”
“She has the sweetest personality in history. Her favorite thing is to curl up. If you feel or fall as soon as you go to it, it will run and jump on your lap or chest, ridiculously snoring for such a small cat and making cookies,” Kate told Love Meow.
Even while sleeping, the cookie factory and the Mayhem snoring engine continue to work.
“When he is not hugging with his people (what he could do all day), is a silly and playful kitten. He loves a mouse, a spring toy and cats residing in his reception home, with whom he plays without stopping.”
Feeling safe and loved, Mayhem wants to be part of everything that happens in the house.
She joins her adoptive brothers in her adventures, always anxious to jump. As a basketball player who goes through a dump, jumps with the stroke, snatching the toy in the air with a decisive grip.
“She is ready to bring her playful spirit, curled up and talents to bake cookies to her home forever,” Setareh added.
Mayhem has become an insect of affectionate love, completely hugging the comforts of inner life. It is difficult to believe that less than two months ago, she didn’t want to have anything to do with people.
A loving host house changed everything to her.
“With his soft fur, huge eyes of Cervatillo and big legs of Mickey Mouse, she is the best hug companion and an expert cookie manufacturer.”

Being the owner of a pet is a life commitment, but sometimes difficult circumstances force dear animals to shelters.
