Mixture of wet and dry foods for pinicated felines

Does your favorite cat give dry food a “legs” a day and a “back down” to the next?
If so, in particular the major cats, consider making the most consistently pleasant meals of the leg mixing food of wet and dry cats. Unlike adding a Topper, which is often used to increase certain nutrients or to help cats to gain weight, combine wet and dry foods increases palatability and improves the appetite of a cat.
Because most cats rarely drink enough water in one day, this can cause dehydration, which, in turn, can cause health problems, including urinary and/or renal tract problems. Wet food can help correct this. Studies have shown that wet canned foods are generally composed of 75 percent of water and semi-rged canned foods are made up of 35 percent water. On the contrary, dry cat food is made up of a single 10 – 12 percent of water. Therefore, adding wet foods to your cat’s current food greatly increases your daily water intake.
Highly tasty for most delicate felines, canned wet food has fabulously fragrant meat combined with tempting and tasty ingredients, as well as canned tuna for humans of the grocery store. And given the abundance of water that contains wet food, cats will feel more full faster. Not to mention how much it helps them handle their weight, since they are consuming fewer general calories.
The only inconveniences: wet food is more expensive than dry food and is more difficult to store once the can have been opened.
On the other hand, dry cat food is similar to dry dog food, since several ingredients are combined, extruded, cooked and then dry in pieces of bite size or small pieces of croquettes. One of the main advantages of Dry Food is the price: it is usually less expensive by ounce than wet foods, however, depending on the brand it bought.
Dry foods, with its crispy croquette, especially some brands prescribed in veterinarian, are specifically formulated to support the dental health of cats by helping to clean their teeth and reduce the accumulation of tartar and plaque. That said, these specially formulated brands should never replace regular teeth and professional teeth and dental checks.
Dry food is also easy to store and lasts more than wet food once it has been opened, so it is ideal to put aside during the day for cats that prefer to graze.
The combination of wet and dry foods offers cat owners the best of both worlds: hydration and taste of wet foods along with dental benefits and dry food cost savings. However, the key to success is to find the correct relationship of wet foods for your own feline friend.
The “general rule”: combines 70% of dry foods with 30% wet foods, although very humid foods may require a proportion of 75% dry and 25% humid. The ideal relationship can also depend on the needs of your own cat. Older cats, for example, may require extra wet foods to keep them hydrated and attract them to eat. But, to err by caution, it is always better to follow the advice of its veterinarian. Then, begin to make a slow transition to the dry/wet combination.
Start by adding a lower amount of humid foods to the usual dry foods of your cat and allow several days to get used to the combination and avoid any possible stomach discomfort. Then, during the next week, add more wet foods to dry food until you reach your objective relationship.
And, lease of the leg, always remember that patience is worth it!

A kitten found hidden in a car tire really prospered when he met a three -legged cat that needed her.

A good Samaritan listened to manipulations from a car and discovered a small kitten hidden in a tire under the steering wheel.

The kitten was scared but stayed still, letting the search engine lift her out of her hiding place. Exhausted and fat covered, it was finally safe and was taken to the Animovr’s dream resound.

Nadija, a volunteer for a long time with the rescue, welcomed her and gave her a place to land after a lifetime in the race.

The kitten, coconut, did not fight, even during his bathroom. After cleaning, she polished her food and snuggled for a long and well -gained nap, updating with the lost dream.

He woke up renewed, his slight engine rumbled softly as he leaned towards his adopted mother by affection.

“She is the sweetest girl who comes when she is called or the second to see me, loves the curled up and holds her, and has a slight enough to listen to the room. She is also incredibly soft, so pretty and a little daring. The total package,” Nadija shared.

Excited to be inside, Coco still yearned for a friend: someone to pursue, fall and snuggle next to the game time.

Approximately two weeks before Coco entered breeding care, an orange and white kitten with a severely injured leg was taken to the county shelter, desperate by a lifeguard. Even with full hands, Nadija did not think twice before intervening to help.

After a very necessary bathroom, Peach (the kitten) was encouraged in all the best ways: eating from heart, snoring without stopping, kneading their blankets and even using the sand box.

When it was clear that his leg could not be saved, he underwent surgery and recovered with remarkable resistance. Now, three legs and without infections, he has found his rhythm, moving with confidence. “She is so incredibly sweet despite everything that has happened.”

“As she was so small (just a little more than one pound), a cone was not an option for her, so I made a nice sweater of socks.”

With excellent care and much FTA, he constantly healed and became stronger every day.

Peach soon jumped on three legs, sailing around his world without losing his rhythm. She surprised everyone with how fast she took to play again, even trying to climb the cat tree as if nothing had changed.

As Peach grew in size and spirit, so did the yearning of a constant partner. Meanwhile, Coco was adapting wonderfully to promoting life, silently waiting for a friend to share her days. When the two finally met, it was as if they had met their entire life.

The playful and outgoing energy of coconut is the perfect balance for Peach’s sweet and tender nature, such as puzzle pieces that simply click on their place.

They gravitate each other, exchanging toys, sharing beds and turning each nap into a cozy battery of legs and snoring.

Although they came from different beginnings, they have become best friends, finding comfort in each other. Coco Shucha Peach with snuggled as if he knew that his new sister could use extra love.

In just two weeks, Coco went from a small street, always in the race, a young playful and safe cat with a better three -legged friend who relies on her as if they had passed through everything.

A lovely mixture of Siamese and Burmese, the Tonkinés is company. They are outgoing, focused on people and known for forming strong emotional connections with their owners. These cats not only tolerate their attention, they thrive in it. If you are willing to endless feline hugs and comments, the tonks are perfect.

7. Maine Coon

Maine Coans may seem majestic Wildcats, but in reality they are great softies. These giant gentiles are affectionate, loyal and, often, follow their humans from one room to another. While they are not usually back cats (they are too strong for that), they love being close and it is known that they sleep near their favorite people.

8. Devon Rex

With its large ears and mischievous personalities, Devon Rex Cats are like small aliens gremlins who love to be close to their humans. They will perch on the shoulders, curl up under the blankets and demand attention in the most charming ways. They are intelligent, playful and definitely not fans of loneliness.

9. Oriental to the short distance

These elegant and elegant cats have great personalities, and even bigger social needs. Oriental Shaorthirs is extremely oriented to people often form intense links with their humans. 10. Abyssinio

While they are not sticky in the traditional form of “cat back”, abyssinians are incredibly focused on people and need to be in the mixture. They are curious, active and love to be part of your world. You will often find them posing on your shoulder, climbing to the countertops to see what you are doing, or snuggle by your side at the time you feel.
